During the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC), the Valley of the Kings, a magical time vault, was built in the middle of the sacred hill. Memnon’s Colossi:
Pharaoh Amenhotep III built the Colossi of Memnon statues in 1350 BC. They are made of stone and will never break (1386–1349 BC). During the Greco-Roman period, they were still taken apart and put back together several times. It was named after Memnon, a leader in ancient Greece.
